ABDUCTED GIRLS: President Jonathan To Visit Chibok On Friday

President Goodluck Jonathan will on Friday, May 16, visit Chibok for the first time since nearly 300 females students have been abducted from a local school, senior government officials said.

The girls have been kidnapped by the Islamist Boko Haram early morning on April 15.

Some of the girls managed to escape, but the location of about 230 teenagers remains unknown.

Parents have identified 70 girls from a video released by Boko Haram earlier this week

Meanwhile, Jonathan is to take part in a summit on the Boko Haram insurgency organised by the French government in Paris.

Nigerians and people from all over the world have staged countless protests demanding to #BringBackOurGirls. A great number of national and international politicians have joined the campaign
