Few weeks before the All Progressive Congress, APC, holds its presidential primaries, below is a cursory look at five politicians that are most likely to emerge as the vice-presidential candidate of the opposition party:
1. Governor Babatunde Fashola:
Arguably, he has the brightest chance among the lot. His greatest undoing would be if a Muslim presidential candidate emerges (which is most likely anyway), but the APC might ignore the warnings from different quarters not to field a Muslim-Muslim ticket and go ahead to draft Fashola into the race because of his popularity across the nation despite the recent denial by one of Buhari spokespersons
