According to Sahara Reporters, the group reasoned their decision by the fact that Jonathan had demonstrated poor performance and inability to manage corruption in the country.
The National Coordinator of the House-to-House Political Education Initiative, Kunle Ehinlanwo, said this as he briefed journalists in Abuja.
The official dislcosed that first they planned to support the Incumbent President thinking that stability would secure democracy. However soon they concluded, based on the careful review and analysis, that the situation in the country needs to be changed.
“We have consequently decided to throw our support in favour of General Muhammadu Buhari, the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who we are convinced is a better man for the challenging job.”
